My FIRST MAC Products!

My First MAC Purchases.

I don't know about you, but I was hesistant to try out MAC. I always feel like things are so  hyped up that they those their actual appeal or aren't as good as people say they are. But I bit the bullet, I broke down. My first big purchase for a higher end makeup was the original Naked Palette from Urban Decay, and ever since then I have become makeup obsessed.

I have experimented with alot of brands, but never MAC. Here recently I have been looking at alot of swatches and watching tutorials on YouTUBE using MAC products so I decided I would pick up a few on my own.

The first two products I purchased were MAC Omega and Satin Taupe eyeshadows.
Satin Taupe (L)             Omega (R)

I am in love with both of these colors, and although Omega is highly dupe-able, I find myself dipping in to this eyeshadow more than the other colors I have like it.

While Satin Taupe can be duped by "Busted" from the Nake Pallette, I still find myself reaching for this single rather than my palette. It is so rich and velvety. It blends effortlessy. I have been wearing it everyday since I purchased it as an all over lid color and also in the out V and under the lashline.

I also picked up MAC Paintpot in Painterly. It is a great matte nude base. I find it make the eyeshadows last forever. I have been a long time fan of Maybeline's Color Tattoos, but this is so different. This is extremely creamy, and doesn't dry as fast so you still have good blending time!

I went to MAC first off for the lipstick in the color SNOB. Unfortunatly, it clashed so bad with my skin tone! My husband was, like, ummmmmmm NO!!! I knew I wanted a lighter shad of pink, so I quickly googled a popular color! Meet my new love <3!
My FIRST MAC LIPSTICK!

It is so beautiful, I have medium-light skin with yellow and olive undertones. I haven't been shade matched at MAC just yet. Coming from someone who is obessesed with Revlon Lipbutters, I was hesitant to spend the $16 on this but I am so glad I did. I is so worth it!

Then I got suckered in for a gloss, I wanted Angel, but they didn;t have it in stock at my counter so I picked up the Plushglass in Ample Pink. I probably wont repurchase more MAC glosses. $20 is a little steep for my pricerange for just a gloss. I realy enjoy my glosses from NYX that are 1/4 of the price! I am however going to enjoy this one while I have it!

So that is it for now! My first mini MAC haul. I see myself gettinm many more eyeshadows from them. They have spoiled me! I am avidly looking at MAC lipstick swatches, but being a more balm/gloss girl I am being picky! Let me know your favorite MAC shadows, and well, all products :)
